Surnali dosa/Soft Konkani Style Rice Pancakes (Sweet and Savory)

Surnali is a south Indian Konkani style fluffy, spongy rice pancake made either sweet (called godu or sweet surnali; sweetened with jaggery or unrefined cane sugar) or savory (cheppi surnali; without the jaggery). It is normally and traditionally served with dollops of fresh homemade butter or ghee (clarified butter) and some Indian pickles and chutney.

Potato Curry or Bhaji for Masala Dosa with Coriander and Cumin

Spicy Potato curry, is a stuffing for dosa (Indian savory crepes made with rice and black lentils), with potatoes, onions, green chilis/jalapenos and some aromatic Indian spices like coriander and cumin. This dry curry is so delicious, you can even use it as a sandwich filling, with rotis, parathas or any other Indian flatbread.
